The J70 yacht is perfect for sailing in the West Sea. It’s one of the most widely sailed small sailing yachts in the world, first designed in 2012 by an American boat builder named Alan Johnston. The yacht is produced in boat manufacturing facilities in the US, Europe, and Asia by artisans who are experts in yacht-making.
The J70 is one of the most popular models amongst sailors across the world for its comfortable design, perfect durability and outstanding racing performance. The J70 is considered to be the reference one design on a global scale. The model appeared in a large number of international competitions, and its accurate and coherent manufacturing process guarantees all sailors uniform sailing conditions.
The J70 is light, durable, and lasts long thanks to its carbon rigs and cutting-edge devices. It’s also very light and easy to transport, launch and control. Thanks to its foldable keel, the height of the trailer is adjustable. Over 1,300 units of the J70 was manufactured and distributed throughout the world for the past four years, allowing for the top sailors in the planet to control the yacht and helping a large number of sailing leagues across the Europe grow. The J70 secured its position as one of the best yacht models at this year’s Sailing World Yacht Competition, attracting attention of global yacht fans. The model appears in almost all sailing competitions taking place on weekends across the world.
Tacking and gibing are easy with the J70 as the boat is 11-feet-long and has a moderate height boom that allows easy crew movement across the cockpit while tacking and jibing. For greater comfort when sitting or hiking out, mid-height padded backrests and lifelines run cockpit length, and toe-rails are mounted on the floor for foot bracing. With the J70, you do not need hiking straps, and there strict class limits for hiking to minimize physical resistance when sailing the boat. Small cabin under the dock is the perfect place for crew to rest and enjoy personal privacy. The cabin is fundamental in helping sailors who spend the entire day sailing on the sea take a break. Its ergonomic design enables crew to move around the cabin freely.
The J70 ICA is a WS-certified organization that more than 1,300 boats in 25 countries are registered. The association hosts regional, continental, and international championships of the highest standards with strict rules and accurate measurement. After it made its first global appearance in Germany, sailors from 13 countries competed in the 2017 circuit, striking the European continent. 61 races are held every year, and it welcomes more than 8,000 sailors and 732 clubs across the world in over 1,500 races scheduled.
