Through this competition, Boryeong City will foster a world class marine sports city to promote Chungnam,
the center of the Yacht culture in the Pan-yellow sea region, and build a linked marine culture through the yachting competition,
the flower of marine sports, and the “Boryeong Mud Festival”, the most popular festival in Korea.
Only athletes recommended by municipal or provincial associations and clubs are allowed to participate.
